In case you have been living under a rock, Fiverr is one of the best ways to make money online. All you need is some elbow grease, a sellable skill (writing, editing, graphic design, etc.) and you can make a lot of extra cash. Or you can turn it into a full time job like Alex Fasulo, a Brooklyn-based freelance, e-book writer who earns $378,000 on Fiverr. Yes, you read that correctly. A freelancer earns $378K on Fiverr!

If that number makes you do a double take, you’re not alone. By any and all standards, $378,000 is a lot of money. What is most shocking, however, is that being a freelance writer of e-books can be one of the highest paying jobs on Fiverr.

How She Did It

Fasulo told CNBC Make It that she earns so much money through freelance-writing 10,000 word e-books for her clients. “In any given week, I write up to three e-books for clients,” Fasulo says.

That seems like an extraordinary amount of words in one week (1.5 million words per year at that pace).

According to CNBC, Fasulo’s best month was May of 2020 where she earned a whopping $36,000. And the surge in her business was, in large part, thanks to the pandemic. “While so many people were losing their jobs and so many businesses were going out of business, so many people were coming online to start selling products and services because it was the only way they were going to make contact with other human beings,” Fasulo says.

Just unbelievable.

Conclusion

If there is anything to take from this — other than a freelancer earns $378K on Fiverr!! — it is that you don’t have to start a business or leave your house or even work for anyone else to make bank. You just need a sellable skill. And a platform (like Fiverr) to sell it on.
