Unemployed Bartender Explains How Starting A TikTok Led To Launching A Product That Sold Out On Amazon

TikTok Cocktail Cards

Back in March 2020, during the first few weeks of the pandemic, millions of people lost their jobs and were forced to find new careers.

AJ Rantz was one of those people.

A bartender by trade, Rantz found himself out of work when bars and restaurants shut down for months.

Forced to find an alternative way of making money – and something to do all damn during lockdown – Rantz started a TikTok account called Cocktail Cards where he showed people how to make fancy drinks at home.

After a few months, the popularity of the account grew so Rantz started a YouTube channel, dreamed up a business idea to turn the recipes into recipe cards for people to make at home, and the story gets better and better.

The rest of Rantz’s story is inspirational and amazing and he explains the entire process from start to finish in this TikTok video.

Rantz went from idea to production, sold $22K worth of product in a day, and even old out on Amazon.

This TikTok video should be an inspiration to all entrepreneurs and anyone with a business idea. Sketch out the idea, take it to the masses, and work on the idea through trial and error.

If you don’t have an idea, take the thing you love to do and bring it to the masses and an idea may just find you.
