10 Vintage Porcelain Dolls That Are Worth a Fortune

Three vintage dolls, including a charming porcelain doll, sit side by side on a wooden bench. Two wear bonnets while one sports a straw hat. Their delicate, detailed faces complement period clothing adorned with lace and ribbons. A small wicker basket rests beside them.

Every antique store in the nation has a porcelain doll for sale somewhere on one of its shelves (probably next to the vintage figurines). But how much are these fragile ladies worth? Depending on how old they are and what condition they’re in, some vintage porcelain dolls can be worth thousands of dollars. We rounded up some of the most expensive ones we could find below.

1. 1900 French Emile Jumeau Bebe Doll

A vintage doll with a brown complexion, dressed in a delicate lace outfit and wearing a floral bonnet. It has braided hair and large, expressive eyes. The doll is captured in a warm, softly lit setting.

Price on eBay: $16,000

This vintage porcelain doll, which stands 21 inches tall, was manufactured in Germany but is dressed in French attire. Made by Jumeau, one of the most iconic porcelain doll makers, the doll was born in 1900, adding to her value. Her beautiful brown doe eyes and luscious braided pig tails don’t hurt either, if you ask us.

2. 1892 Le Parisien Bebe Doll

A vintage porcelain doll with long blond hair and blue eyes, wearing a lace dress and a red hat adorned with feathers. Another doll is partially visible in the background, seated on a chair. Both are displayed on a marble surface.

Have you ever said, “I’m not sure what to do with my hands,” when posing for a picture? That’s kind of the vibe this porcelain doll gives off — though since she was made way back in 1892, we’ll cut her some slack. With a beautiful lace dress, full cheeks, and heart-shaped lips, she is pretty endearing.

3. 19th Century Antique Jumeau Doll

A vintage doll with long brown hair is dressed in a cream-colored, ruffled dress and a necklace with a pendant. It stands on a carpeted floor next to a glass display case with another doll inside. Framed artwork hangs on the wall behind.

Even with scuffs and scrapes, if a porcelain doll is vintage enough, she’s worth some serious loot. This French doll is a prime example. She’s got some wear and tear, but the fact that she hails from the 19th century and stands a whopping 29 inches tall boosts her value significantly.

4. 19th Century CM Bergmann German Bisque Doll

A vintage doll with a porcelain face wearing a frilly, pale blue dress and a matching bonnet with lace trim. The doll has brown hair and is posed on a marble surface in front of a mirror and curtains in the background.

She has a bit of a confused expression on her face, but something about this porcelain doll is adorable. Made in Germany during the 19th century, she has a vintage vibe that supports a higher price tag, even with her slightly lazy eye.

5. 1878 Schmitt et Fils French Bisque Doll

A vintage porcelain doll with curly blond hair and blue eyes, dressed in an intricate beige outfit featuring lace and pleats, with a large feathered hat and brown shoes. The doll stands against a plain blue background.

Porcelain dolls don’t have to be more than 2 feet tall to be worth a lot of money. This little lady stands only 15 1/2 inches tall, but her ornate details and impressive age (she was made in 1878!) make her quite valuable. Her bright blue eyes and bright-blonde curls make her a more unique French porcelain doll too.

6. 19th Century J. Bourgoin Talking Porcelain Doll

A vintage doll with long brown hair tied into two pigtails, wearing an intricate lace dress and sitting on a wooden surface. The doll has a startled expression with wide eyes and is surrounded by antique decor.

We’re just going to say it because we know you’re thinking it too. This doll is terrifying and is probably going to star in a horror movie one of these days. We’d pay $7,750 just to keep her away from us, but to each their own. She was made out of porcelain during the 19th century and can talk, which is impressive. But still: Very creepy.

7. 1912 Hertel & Schwab Antique Doll

A vintage doll with long brown hair and blue eyes, wearing a pink dress with lace details and white shoes, sitting on a patterned cream-colored background.
