30 Vintage Shots That Capture Life in 1950

Life changed a lot during the 1950s, but the year that started the decade was just scratching the surface of what the rest of the 1950s had in store. From soldiers leaving for the Korean War to chugging along through the peak of polio, these vintage photos show what life in 1950 looked like.
